About You

Protect the systems, services and information that people rely on every day

Are you an experienced information security professional looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference?

We're looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to play a key role in protecting our systems, services and information. This is an opportunity to work across the organisation, influencing decisions, reducing risk and helping to build a resilient and secure digital environment.

You'll combine technical expertise with practical problem-solving, working with colleagues, suppliers and senior stakeholders to ensure security is embedded into everything we do.

You might be working in information security, cyber security, governance, risk, assurance or compliance and be ready for a broader role with greater influence and variety.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience identifying, assessing and managing cyber and information security risks.
  • Can translate complex technical issues into practical, proportionate advice for different audiences.
  • Has experience in areas such as vulnerability management, incident response, security assurance, risk assessment or supplier assurance.
  • Enjoys building positive working relationships and influencing others to make informed, risk-based decisions.
  • Is organised, analytical and confident managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes a pragmatic approach to security, balancing risk, business needs and user experience.

About The Role

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work across a broad range of security and assurance activities, helping to protect critical services and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading vulnerability management activities and working with technical teams to reduce security risks.
  • Managing and supporting security incidents, investigations and lessons learned activity.
  • Conducting security risk assessments and advising on appropriate controls for systems, services, projects and suppliers.
  • Supporting governance, compliance and assurance processes through reporting, monitoring and improvement planning.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, helping colleagues across the organisation understand security risks and make informed decisions.
  • Maintaining oversight of security actions, controls and improvement initiatives to strengthen our overall security posture.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of security policies, standards and guidance, helping to shape the future direction of information security across the organisation.

We don’t expect candidates to meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we've identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you!
